The City of Erie, Ks., has completed the installation of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) for its public power utility. Erie decided to install the Vision Metering system, which met its goals and needs in an affordable manner, KPP noted.
VESTA’s design is revolutionary! It uses a combination of pulses, volts & amps from a true three phase standard to achieve the most accurate test results. The total package is truly unique in all aspects of its design and function.
Vision Metering's full line of polycarbonate covers are constructed of UV Stabilized, High molecular weight engineered thermoplastics that have exceptionally high impact strength over a wide temperature range.
Vision Metering offers K-Base Adapters designed to convert K- Base installations to Socket Type of Meters. The socket does not de-rate the system.
The Adapters have current transformers installed in the base. The buss bars are made of 98% or better copper and float in the base to allow for any misalignment of the meter socket buss bars, providing an easy install.
Vision Metering has incorporated Semtech’s LoRa® devices and the LoRa®WAN protocol into its line of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI)-based smart electric meters and meter interface units for water and gas meters.
With LoRa®, utilities can design their system to facilitate communicating with electric, water and gas meters all on the same network. Other devices like street light controllers, transformer temperature monitors and distribution monitoring devices can all be added as needed.
Vision Metering is proud to introduce a low cost solution for using the public wireless systems to meter residential, commercial and industrial customers. The LTE Cat M1 modem is data only making it significantly less expensive than 4G LTE modems. It is the perfect choice for Machine to Machine (M2M) communications.
Vesta Cube’s design conforms to your specific needs. It can be configured in multiple ways to work best in your shop. It is driven from an external computer which can be supplied by Vision or supplied by the buyer. You can mount the display on a configurable arm or on top or along side the Cube.
VESTA is moving to a fully integrated data collection system incorporated into VESTA's operation! VESTA test boards can be networked together or networked into other systems. Due to the computing power inside, VESTA lends itself perfectly to being an all-inclusive system for a user.
